Concept Design & Feasibility Study
CetraRuddy completed a feasibility and concept design for the redevelopment of an existing manufacturing building at 25/30 Columbia Heights. The design approach preserves the original building heritage enhanced by its proximity to the waterfront, and retains its aesthetic whIle introducing modern amenities suitable for contemporary work and social environments. The mixed-use program includes 8 floors of over 200,000 SF of commercial office space which includes floorplates between 25,000-30,000 RSF each. 25/30 Columbia was designed to add a layer to Brooklyn’s history and the concept expresses a dialog between external, contextual influences and internal, programmatic forces.
